Apple Music To Exclusively Stream Taylor Swift’s ‘1989 World Tour Live’

At this point in her career, Taylor Swift is a name that most people know whether they find themselves being a fan of her music or not. Over the past few years, Taylor has gone on to become one of the music industry’s most successful forces, largely in part due to her “girl next door” image and massively relatable music. Just last year, we saw the release of Taylor’s latest studio album, 1989. To date, the LP has went on to sell north of 5 million copies just within the U.S. alone. In support of the album, Taylor embarked on the “1989 World Tour” that saw the singer traveling across the globe to the pleasure of thousands of fans across each date. With the tour at its end, Taylor Swift is looking to give fans who missed the concert, and those who want to relive the experience again, a chance to experience the show as the ‘1989 World Tour Live’ concert special will exclusively air via Apple Music on December 20th.

One that has been more than outspoken about the unfair aspects of the streaming world, it comes as a surprise that Taylor and her team were able to not only able to come to an agreement, but have also gave Apple Music the pleasure of being the first and only service that will have the concert available during the first few weeks. It would come as no surprise if this turns out to be the start of a further relationship between Taylor and the service. For now, fans can get ready to enjoy the concert special on Sunday, December 20th.
