
Marking the end of an era, Apple reportedly ends of iTunes replacing the program with three separate apps.
Ahead of Apple’s Worldwide Developers Conference beginning June 3, 2019, Bloomberg reports the technology giant will end one of their signature programs. Apple is reportedly ready to move into a new era, and plans new apps for the Mac as well as music, TV and podcast apps to replace iTunes and match the current media strategy.
For 18 years, users of Apple devices maintained music, podcast, movie and television libraries through iTunes. The change may be overdue to some, seeing as Apple developed platforms such as the streaming platform Apple Music continues evolving.
