Though it was in another losing effort, Anthony Davis had his first big game of this season against the Atlanta Hawks on Friday night with 43 points, 10 rebounds, three assists, four steals and three blocks. The Pelicans fell to 0-5 on the season after losing to the Hawks 121-115 as Davis tied his career-high in scoring.
Davis shot 14-for-23 from the field and made 14 out of 16 attempts at the free throw line. He also hit the only three-pointer that he attempted.
