Jared Brown: Hello Angelina, welcome to the party, how are you?
Angelina Galt: Hey! I’m doing very well. Got back from a photoshoot and sat down to answer some of your questions.
What inspired you to begin modeling?
I have always been fond of art, any kind of art. I found art in modeling and cherish every second of its creation. I started modeling very young and I think my inspiration has to do with my grandmother. She was a photographer and seeing her art inspired me.
“I think what is more important than school is constant learning. Yes, we can learn in school but school isn’t the only resource for that.”

With success comes sacrifice, what are some things you have to sacrifice being a model?
There are a few sacrifices I have had to make to become a model. The two main ones are perhaps free time to spend with friends, as I am either busy with work or traveling for work. Being away from loved ones can be tough. Another sacrifice is not eating junk food as much as one would like to.
What are some of your favorite junk foods?
My favorite junk food is pizza and udon ramen. As for dessert, chocolate always sounds good.
I read that you want to attend school while you model, how important is that for you?
I think what is more important than school is constant learning. Yes, we can learn in school but school isn’t the only resource for that. While, of course, I plan to attend and graduate from a University, I find ways to always educate myself while I’m working.
What do you plan to major in?
I haven’t quite made up my mind but it’s between a major in Psychology or Interior Design.
Tell us about the Angelina Galt Foundation.

You’re based in Los Angeles but you work on a lot of projects in New York, will NYC eventually become home for you?
I do travel to New York very often and maybe one day I will prolong my stay for a few years. I never know where home is going to be next. I already signed with NY Model Agency and Q Models.
NYC is home to a lot of great places to eat, during your time here, what are some of your favorite spots?
Great question, I’m definitely one to know the answer to this. Some of my favorites spots to eat in NY are pizza at Artichoke Basille’s and Sushi on Jones.
NYC is definitely known for its amazing pizza. While NYC has some amazing places to eat, what are some of your favorite restaurants out in L.A.?
Los Angeles has some real hidden gems when it comes to restaurants. One of them is My 2 Cents, they serve the most wonderful home-style food. A great place for sushi is Sushi by H.

I’m sure you have a very strict diet, what does that consist of?
I try to keep my diet as healthy as possible, eating lots of greens and clean protein. I have found that, for me, staying fit is mostly about my diet more than my workouts. Once in a while I will treat myself to a cheat day.
How many cheat days do you have in a month’s time and what is your go-to cheat meal?
I usually have about three or four cheat days a month, depending on the month. My go-to cheat meal is a soulful bowl of ramen with ice cream for dessert.
To an aspiring model reading this, what advice would you give them?
My best advice would be to stick with your goals. Life is going to keep knocking you off your path as long as you have a negative mindset and expect that from life. You will be surprised how much your attitude and outlook can change day to day reality.
Let us know what projects you have coming up.
The most exciting project coming up right now is Harpers Bazaar Greece. I’m so honored to be on the cover and can’t wait to hold it in my hands!
