Head Coach Andy Enfield and the USC Trojans have agreed to a contract extension that will keep him with the team through the 2027-28 season. The talented Head Coach was a top candidate for the vacant job with the Maryland Terrapins. USC knew this and did not want that to happen and decided to invest even more into Enfield. His success in the PAC-12 and NBA Draft process has been nothing short of amazing to watch.
Andy Enfield was mentioned as a candidate at Maryland, but word out of USC all along has been he was more likely to sign a new deal. And now he has — through 2028. https://t.co/qNWWLbmy6H

The USC Trojans have become a yearly PAC-12 contender under the leadership of Head Coach Andy Enfield. They can also boast the addition of some of their talents to the NBA. Since he joined the Trojans program in 2013 he has led the team to a 182-115 overall record and a PAC-12 record of 84-81. The last three years have been particularly good and included him winning the 2021 PAC-12 Coach of the Year Award.
We are excited about the trajectory of our @USC_Hoops program under Andy Enfield’s leadership and look forward to continuing to grow our basketball tradition at USC! #FightOn ?? https://t.co/BQuuELei2I

While Evan Mobley is the most recent player to gain national attention from the program, he isn’t the only talented player to grow within the USC Trojans program under Head Coach Andy Enfield. The plan within the USC athletic program was always to extend and invest in their Head Coach. Pressure from the Maryland Terrapins sped up the process if anything, but the move was a long time coming with recent success on the court.
