And with the first overall pick in the 2014 NBA Draft the Cleveland Cavaliers select Andrew Wiggins.
Not only does Andrew have a new home in the NBA with the Cavs he has just officially joined the adidas family. No surprise here honestly because Wiggins wore the brand his only year in College.
Unlike the signing of Jabari Parker with Jordan Brand we have some knowledge of the figures Wiggins signed for and that is said to be a multiyear $2 Million dollars annually.
Young brother get that money.. Hopefully the so called ‘Adidas curse’ so to speak doesn’t catch up to him.
Wiggins being such a high profiled draft pick now joins the likes of Derrick Rose, Damian Lillard, John Wall and fellow draftee; Dante Exum. So the brands resurgence is well in place to keep up with those like Nike, Reebok and Jordan Brand.
