Andrew Wiggins has had quite the year. Despite some criticism over his all-around play, the 21-year-old has emerged as an already elite scorer.
Wiggins showed that skill once again on Tuesday. The Wolves forward poured in 31 points on 11-22 shooting against the Phoenix Suns. More importantly, he buried a tough jumper at the buzzer to bring home the win in Phoenix.

Wiggins stumbled on his way to getting to his spot and had PJ Tucker draped all over him the entire way. Nevertheless, the Kansas product was able to create just enough space, elevate, and knock down the deciding shot.
The Wolves had five other players score in double-digits as they secured their 17th win, somehow still keeping them in the playoff hunt for the Western Conference’s sub-par eighth seed.
For Wiggins, it was another day in the office. This game adds to his already great offensive season, scoring just under 22 points per game at a respectable 44.8 shooting percentage from the field.
As the Wolves continue their better play of late, they will need Andrew Wiggins to continue to pour in similar performances while improving other aspects of his game. Wiggins is still unbelievably young and has the chance to be unbelievably good.
