Luck is still nursing a shoulder injury he suffered last season. The Colts currently sit at a 0-2 record, having been blown out by the Los Angeles Rams and losing a close one to the Arizona Cardinals.
Jacoby Brissett stepped up to start in week two against the Cardinals. He did a decent job but threw an interception on the first throw of overtime. It would have been a nice win with Luck out, but unfortunately, they now sit at the bottom of the AFC South.
If the Colts are to have any chance of success this year, they need Luck. The Colts are in the AFC South, which is usually one of the weaker divisions in the NFL. If Luck can come back and the Colts are able to pull through and win against the Browns, then maybe there is a chance.
If Luck is not able to get healthy, expect this to be a long year for the Colts. They will need a bit of luck, both kinds, or their hopes of making the playoffs will simply not come true.
