Following Andrew Luck this season has been an insanely emotional roller coaster. The more time he misses, the more I believe he won’t play in 2017. Why would he? On Wednesday, Colts general manager, Chris Ballard, dropped the news that his star quarterback will not practice.
Colts GM Chris Ballard: Andrew Luck has had soreness in his shoulder. Won’t practice this week.
This is what we call a setback.

Luck will not be put on IR. His season is NOT over.
But there’s no question this is a significant setback.

Based on what we heard today, I wouldn’t be surprised if Andrew Luck misses the entire 2017 season.

There is zero chance head coach Chuck Pagano plays Luck before he goes through an entire week of practice unaffected by his shoulder. Since he is now shut down, this causes a major road bump in his return date.
The Colts are currently one game back in the AFC South, a division filled with .500 teams.
