Andrew Luck logged his first official practice of 2017 yesterday. While he only threw a couple of passes, he was able to stretch with teammates, go through quarterback drills, and throw some routes to his receivers.
He commented on his injury for the first time since July 29.
“It was fun to be back on the field and put on a jersey and a helmet and get to go out there and throw a couple passes with the guys. I wish I would wake up tomorrow morning and the whole thing was a dream. But I know that’s not the case, that’s not the reality and I understood when I elected to have surgery not to be surprised by anything and to understand this was going to be a long process, a really, really long process.”
Although Luck participated in practice Wednesday, head coach Chuch Pagano made sure it was crystal clear that Andrew Luck would not play this Sunday.
