I mean. It can’t get any worse for the New York Knicks. Right?
Well the 5-28 Knicks, who are just percentage points behind the Philadelphia 76ers for the #1 spot in the draft lottery, are getting back an injured piece that can help out. Maybe, a little bit?
The often injured and former number 1 overall pick, Andrea Bargnani, is slated to return to the Knicks on New Years eve.
First reported by Marc Berman of the New York Post:
Bargnani says will play tomorrow.

He’s just had injury after injury and hasn’t played one game for the Knicks this season. I’m not sure how much he can help though at this point.
Bargnani, in my opinion, is just another one of the 9 Knicks players who contracts expire after this season that will be a cap casualty.
As the Knicks require more losses to get a good pick, it will be crucial for the team to not win anymore games. They didn’t have a first round pick last year, they don’t have one in 2016 and it looks like 2015 will be the year the Knicks will have a first round pick and it seems like it will be a very high pick as well.
The summer of 2015 will be exciting in New York. But the winter of 2014 for Knicks fans, is miserable and cold.
