Andre Iguodala will be the first person to admit his offense isn’t the best part of his game. Even he knows this postseason, his jumpshot has not been reliable, and he has even gone as far as saying it is broken.
Asked Iguodala about how his jump shot is feeling these days. He said it’s broken right now.

In the postseason, Iguodala has shot 44% from the field, which includes only 29% on jumpshots and 80% inside the restricted area. Luckily, he has gone 24 for 30 inside the restricted area, which has hidden his poor shooting performance on the stat sheet.
Best known for his defensive abilities, Iguodala was named to the All-Defensive first team last season, and to the All-Defensive second team in 2011. If he could get his shooting to the level of his defensive abilities, he could find himself in another all-star game in the near future.
Having a player of Iguodala’s caliber off the bench has helped the Golden State Warriors get the where they are, the NBA Finals. Primarily a starter throughout his career, the Warriors have benefitted from moving this added experience to the bench this season. Bench play is always huge in the playoffs, and with only four more wins needed for a championship, this extra experience will highly benefit the Warriors.
