Rapper Andre 3000 joins the cast of upcoming AMC series Dispatches From Elsewhere”.
The ten-episode series directed by Jason Segal films in Philadelphia and began production mid-July according to Atlanta Journal-Consitution. There are currently no details on the role but, according to the IMBD summary, the series carries as much mystique as Andre 3000’s personality.
“It will feature elements across multiple platforms, is about a group of ordinary people who stumble onto a puzzle hiding just behind the veil of everyday life. They will come to find that the mystery winds far deeper than they ever imagined.”
Fellow cast members include Sally Field, Richard E. Grant and Jason Segal himself. Andre 3000 is no stranger to shining in front of the camera beyond a musical stage. The rapper has acting credits ranging from Semi-Pro and Four Brothers to portraying Jimi Hendrix in All Is By My Side.
