Sometimes it pays to fly under the radar. Following the success of his sophomore album, Malibu, Anderson .Paak has been quietly touring the world and earning the title of one of the best in the game. From his rapping to his singing, the California native is surely one of the most talented artists in today’s musical landscape. As a result, the Aftermath Entertainment artist has built up a loyal fan base over time that is craving new music. In May, Anderson released his latest single, “Bubblin'”, along with a video for the song. Yesterday, he revealed that Dr. Dre was currently mixing his latest album, Oxnard Ventura. While we’re not sure when the album will arrive on streaming platforms, we believe that it is coming sometime soon. To increase anticipation for the project’s completion, the singer, songwriter and rapper has returned with new music.
Anderson .Paak has released the remix to the lead single off of his upcoming album, Oxnard Ventura. The track, “Bubblin'”, features New York rap legend, Busta Rhymes. As you would imagine, the two talented emcees completely destroy the track and deliver on every verse. .Paak shines on the track when he raps, “Got me hot as a laser, my posse deep and irate/And we act a fool for the paper, had a dream and I made it /El Camino on Dayton’s, vintage Guess over Bape /Put the bread on me, b*tch, b*tch, you bet I’ma bank it/Piggy flat in a blanket, I might just roll out today/I might just roll out to Vegas, head back to my old ways /Cop a room full of Asian h-es and do blow all day.”
