Analyzing Three 2021 NFL Week 13 Games

  • November 29, 2021

The NFL regular season is nearing the final stretch and games become even more important for playoff contenders. 2021 NFL Week 13 is upon the league and with it, three key games will be played that could end up being the difference for division winners. NFL bettors are watching odds for NFL Week 13 matchups very closely. While every game is important there are three games that have major playoff and divisional importance. Young quarterbacks will be tested and defenses will make or break teams this week. Sports Betting is legal in 22 states in the USA, so if you’re in one, place your bets this week on these games.

New England Patriots at Buffalo Bills

Monday Night Football features the first game between New England and Buffalo. A tight AFC East race this year will likely be decided after these two games are played. The quarterback battle between Josh Allen and Mac Jones should be must-watch football against two top-tier defenses. Rookie quarterbacks often struggle later in the season when teams need to win games to keep hope alive. That being said Mac Jones and the Patriots have won six games in a row for a reason.

The Bills face this game without their top cornerback Tre’Davious White and that’s a problem for the team. Josh Allen’s play on the field will make or break this team on Monday Night. The quarterback that can make the most plays will ultimately win the game in this 2021 NFL Week 13 matchup. Mac Jones looks like the future of Patriots football and this game will teach people a lot about what he is capable of moving forward. The loser of this game will be at a major disadvantage in the AFC East title race. This is the most important game in Week 13.

Los Angeles Chargers at Cincinnati Bengals

The non-divisional matchups still hold important value and likely none more than this one in Week 13. Los Angeles and Cincinnati are both fighting for not only the 2021 NFL Playoffs but also a shot at winning the AFC West and AFC North respectively. Joe Burrow and Justin Herbert are the clear-cut two best quarterbacks of their draft class and face off for the first time on Sunday. Both teams have shown spectacular flashes of ability, but have also had moments where they showcased why they may not be ready to contend for a Super Bowl.

The running back battle between Austin Ekeler and Joe Mixon may decide this game on Sunday. Whichever running back can break through the opposing defense could provide the edge needed to win the game. The winner of this game will stay alive in their division race while the loser may have to focus on trying to secure a Wildcard berth. This 2021 NFL Week 13 game will help determine which young team might be ready to take a step up in the AFC standings.

Denver Broncos at Kansas City Cheifs

This game is important for several reasons. The AFC West is a tight race and a loss would make things tough on the Denver Broncos. This game could also continue to highlight the Kansas City Cheifs and if they have regained their mojo like they’ve appeared to in the last few weeks. The key in-game matchup will be between Patrick Mahomes and the Denver Broncos defense. While he has certainly played better and had fewer turnovers the last few weeks, the magic isn’t completely there even now. Winning games has helped matters, but the Broncos, if playing their best, could pose a serious threat to the team.

Can  Teddy Bridgewater make enough plays to win the game if the running game and defense keep things close? He has shown before that the answer to that question seems to be yes, but only sometimes. This 2021 NFL Week 13 game could be just the edge the Cheifs need or it could make the AFC West even more confusing. If Kansas City hopes to return to the Super Bowl this year they have to win games like this.
