‘An Inconvenient Truth’ may get a sequel.
In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, producer Lawrence Bender said there has been discussion about a follow up.
“We have had conversations,” said Bender. “If we are going to make a movie, we want it to have an impact.”
One of the films other producers, Scott Z. Burns, said they would do a sequel if there was “a really, really amazing way of attacking the issue and reinvigorating it.”
‘An Inconvenient Truth’ grossed nearly $50 million worldwide when it was releaed back in 2006. It also earned its narrator, Al Gore, a Nobel Peace Prize in 2007.
