Reigning from Detroit, formerly known as Phreshy Duzit, Amir Obe looks to have been given that infamous OVO stamp of approval from none other than the “6 God”, Drake. This past weekend on Drakes’ second OVO Sound Radio show on Apple Music’s Beats 1, Amir’s ‘Just Know’ was premiered.
Now we all know a Drake cosign is heavily respected or a verse to remix your record is just as powerful at this juncture but with Amir Obe being credited on “Star67” off Drake latest project “IYRTITL“, what better way to return the favor.
It’s no secret that Drake has a keen ear for picking up new talent and their music so for his song to be featured among others like Roy Wood$ – who is the newest signee of OVO – along with 3 from Drake (‘Hotline Bling‘, ‘Charged Up‘ & ‘Right Hand‘) plus others, that is an accomplishment that opens up the doors for other opportunities.
So how does the Detroit native take advantage of the OVO stamp of approval? he released two more tracks as well in ‘On A Ride’ and ‘Say No More’
