Amir Obe returns with a brand new EP composed of 10 tracks, ‘Happening In The Grey Area’. The project almost comes as a surprise since word of it didn’t come until the day before its release when Amir posted the album artwork via social media. Upon its release, he sat down with Billboard for a impromptu interview which simultaneously coincides with the release of the project.
Here is what Amir Obe had to say about the overall sound he was aiming for and what fans should expect,
I think they’re gonna get a real authentic, progressive, real melodic project. I did a lot of experimenting on this project, so I just discovered new ways to approach songs. It’s still very conversational. It’s still very me as far as my personal experience but I think this is gonna be a real solid body of work.
