Wednesday has proved to be an eventful day in music. 6LACK kicked things off with the announcement of a new project and a new single. Then, Jack Harlow recruited DaBaby, Lil’ Wayne and Tory Lanez for the “What’s Poppin'” remix. Now, Aminé is here to close the show with the release of the “Riri” video.
“You love Rihanna, but you ain’t a savage/Don’t act like you perfect, you know that we both got some baggage,” the Portland native opens the track.
Throughout the track, the rising artist seemingly closes the door on an old relationship while looking forward to the future.
“Broke my heart three times/Shawty hit a n*gga with the peace sign/Wasn’t with me since I had the Nissan/Blinded by your beauty, missing these signs/Wish I had three eyes,” Aminé raps.
