
Eleven days ago, Aminé delivered his sophomore album, Limbo. Yesterday, it debuted at number sixteen on the Billboard 200 chart. Now, he’s releasing a new single called “Hello” with Luke Steele of Empire of the Sun. Produce by his right-hand man, Pasqué, and the Stereotypes, the record wears a pop style bounce.
“Shopping so much that my arm getting stretch marks/Starting like a winner but I treat her like a sweetheart/The brain so stupid AKA you know the head smart/Y’all thought y’all was ahead but I just gave you a head start,” he raps.
“Hi hater, bye hater, hello to the world/And hell nah if you wanna favor run into my thoughts In the fall ’cause the summer stupid AKA I gotta do it/You know we been cooking boy/Y’all in danger in to us,” he ends the verse.
“Hello” is just the latest record from the Portland native following his sophomore effort. With features from Summer Walker, J.I.D, Charlie Wilson and many others, the project has caught the attention of many fans, media outlets and beyond.
