The Miami Heat are pushing to get rid of Chris Andersen and Mario Chalmers. Personally I want Chalmers gone but I think Andersen can still give Miami a few rebounds and blocks to the team.
The fact that they just simply want to get rid of them like Phoenix did with three of their players is astounding to me. I’d at least want a draft pick or two. But I’m me and Pat Riley is Pat Riley so who am I to talk.
But even though they still have Andersen and Chalmers. They’re still looking around for players, and Amar’e Stoudemire is very interested in the Heat according to B/R’s Jared Zwerling.
Source: Amar’e Stoudemire is also strongly considering the Heat. Meeting with Pat Riley tomorrow. Heat has tax midlevel just FYI.

As a Heat fan. Yes, yes, yes to this possibility. Amar’e has been healthy for a couple of years now, he’s clearly found a balance and still produces. He’s a great fit in my opinion. And also, he’s a South Florida resident, he already lives there! Surely you’d see that and put 1 & 1 together right? And another couple of tidbits about STAT. According to the NY Post’s Marc Berman, he wanted to join the Big 3 in 2010.
BR’s Jared Zwerling reporting Amar’e Stoudemire considering Miami. Has a place there and wanted to join Miami Dream Team in 2010.

Pat Riley. It is time to truly work your magic.
