Golden State Warriors assistant coach and soon to be New Orleans Pelicans head coach Alvin Gentry gave the team a nice spark in practice the day after winning Game 5 of the NBA Finals.
You can see from the Instagram video above that it took Gentry to attempts to complete the dunk. You also see that it took some trickery. He had to use the padding under the basket as take-off leverage for the dunk. But in reality, the fact that he could even pull that off might have been more impressive than an actual dunk. Gentry finished with good form and gave a nice walk-off too, and the entire gym went nuts. You can see Steve Kerr waving his hands as if that just shut down practice.
