Director Paul Feig has confirmed that ‘Ghostbusters 3’ will have an all female cast. He will team up with writer Katie Dippold who he worked with on ‘The Heat’.
He confirmed the news via his Twitter.
It’s official. I’m making a new Ghostbusters & writing it with @katiedippold & yes, it will star hilarious women. That’s who I’m gonna call.

‘Ghostbusters 3’ has been in development for several decades. There was renewed interest in the project shortly before the death of Harold Raims who co-wrote and starred in the original.
In August, the movie took a new turn after former director Ivan Reitman stepped down so Feig could take over.
No release date or casting decisions have been announced for the film.
