New Orleans Pelicans locked in their franchise big man, Anthony Davis, for as long as they can keep him. ‘The Brow’ locked in a deal with the Pels with his huge extension due to his early success and now they are looking to lock in his bench counterpart.
Alexis Ajinca, who managed to show some signs of fantastic play last season, will be returning to the Pelicans on a super cheap deal.

ESPN sources say that Ajinca and the Pelicans have come to terms on a four-year deal valued, more precisely, at $20.2 million

Ajinca on this small deal will be a steal by next summer. It’s only $5 million per year right now and with the salary cap going up, this will be one of the smaller deals in the NBA. He has value as a backup center in the league and there is no better fit to compliment Anthony Davis at such a cheap price.
