Alex Rodriguez, one of the most decorated but tainted players in the history of the MLB, has an end date in mind. His current contract with the Yankees, which will pay him $40 million dollars over the next two seasons, expires in after the 2017 season.
It now appears that the end of his deal with the Yanks will also mark the end of his career in the MLB.

Rodriguez missed the entire 2014 season due to a suspension from the MLB after they determined he was involved with performance enhancing drugs, the Biogenesis clinic and Anthony Bosch.
Rodriguez holds a number of MLB records, he does have a chance to break the All-Time Homeruns record, if he somehow manages to hit 75 over the next two seasons. He’s a three-time MVP award winner, 14-time All-Star and a World Series champion but as A-Rod’s career comes to an end, the questions about his involvement with performance enhancing drugs and how it would affect his legacy will come to light more than ever before.
