Arizona Coyotes forward Alexander Burmistrov was stretched off the ice following a hit in the middle of the ice. He was taken to the local hospital as a precaution, and is doing okay.
During the second period of Tuesday’s game he was hit hard by Boston Bruins defenseman Colin Miller, who lowered his shoulder into Burmistrov, who slammed his head into the ice.

Miller was given a 5 minute major and a game misconduct, which would most likely lead to a hearing from the NHL’s Department of Player Safety. The hit did not appear dirty, as Miller did not leave his feet, and did not go after the head of Burmistrov.
As he was taken off the ice, Burmistrov gave fans a thumbs up and once he made it to the hospital, he posted a picture on his snapchat to let fans know he is okay.
