2022 promises to be a great year for the introduction of new artists. Out in the U.K., artists like ShaSimone and Nippa are starting to make waves overseas. In the U.S., names like Reggie Becton, Destin Conrad and Marzz are making major progress as well. Among the growing crop of younger artists spreading their musical gifts around the world is Alemeda.
The talented singer out of Arizona and Ethiopia has appeared on Reason’s “Slow Down” while also dropping tracks of her own like “Summer Break” and “Wish You The Worst.” Most recently, her “Gonna Bleach My Eyebrows” video has garnered nearly 300,000 views on YouTube.
As the hype surrounding her music continues to grow, Alemeda has fed fans snippets of her upcoming releases. Back in November, she teased an unreleased track called “Post Nut Clarity.” Now, she’s back with another song preview called “Beat A B*tch Up.” Much like her previous releases, this snippet has an uptempo flare with a bold and honest tone.
“I thought that you were serious. I thought that you were telling the truth. Oh, I must be delirious. ‘Cause I would really would fight b*tches for you. I really would…I really would beat a b*tch up,” she sings.
At this moment, the only thing left for Alemeda to do is release the full-length version because it appears that her fans need it sooner rather than later. Check out the 28-second clip below.
