Utah Jazz guard Alec Burks has been ruled out for Monday’s road game against the Los Angeles Clippers with a left shoulder injury. The Utah Jazz Twitter account reported that Alec Burks will travel with the team to LA but will not play.
Burks also missed yesterday’s game against the Philadelphia Sixers but the Jazz were still able to secure a win 88-71. Burks is averaging 13.0 points, 4.2 rebounds and three assists this season with the Jazz.
The Jazz are sitting 13th in wild Western Conference with a 10-20 record going 5-5 in their last 10 games and currently on a 2 game winning streak. The Jazz look to continue their winning ways tomorrow night when they face the struggling Clippers who are 4-6 in their last 10.
