The #BlackExcellence keeps rolling in today. With NBA All-Star weekend prepared to begin later today and Black Panther‘s opening weekend underway, there is no shortage of examples of black people around the world doing their thing. One great example of this is Nipsey Hussle, who is back with a brand new project called Victory Lap. Complete with features from The-Dream, CeeLo Green. Kendrick Lamar, Diddy and many others, the project spans an hour of Nipsey Hussle giving his take on routes to success in today’s culture, while staying true to his Californian roots. From the opening seconds of the project, listeners know immediately that this is a Nipsey Hussle project. On the intro, Hussle raps, “I’m prolific, so gifted. I’m the type that’s gon’ go get it, no kiddin’. Breaking down a Swisher in front of yo buildin’. Sitting on the steps feeling no feelings.”
While the project is less than eighteen hours old to the general public, it has gotten great reviews from fans and critics alike.
