Brooklyn Nets offseason moves are coming fast and furious just in time for them to make some offers for their big name free agents. Brook Lopez and Thaddeus Young have a clear lane to return to the team, especially after they traded away Mason Plumlee to shorten the rotation in the frontcourt.
With Plumlee going to the Portland Trail Blazers, it sent rookie defensive stud Rondae Hollis-Jefferson to the Nets. Hollis-Jefferson plays that wing forward position and Alan Anderson might have realized that, making his decision to opt out a little easier.

Anderson has some talent that he could bring to a team for a very cheap contract. In short minutes, Anderson has a great ability to defend the wing position and he can make some open three’s if needed.
For the Nets, Rondae Hollis-Jefferson would be an upgrade from Anderson. While his offense is a little suspect and he doesn’t have the NBA experience his defense is top-notch and he was long considered the best defensive player in the 2015 NBA Draft.
