Inspired by Takehiko Inoue’s ‘Slam Dunk’, a sports-themed Japanese manga (comic) which is written about a basketball team from Sh?hoku High School. Ironically the characters in the comic series wear Bulls-style or inspired jersey and Air Jordan kicks. Well today it looks like by these new pictures that hit the internet, the folks at Jordan Brand are paying tribute to the Japanese manga with this Air Jordan 6 Retro ‘Slam Dunk’.
To the naked eye you will notice a few illustrations on the sneakers but when the flash hits them the 3M reveals a lot. As of right now there is no confirmed release info on this varsity red/varsity/white colorway but keep checking back with us for updates.
