Afropunk Brooklyn 2019 releases their lineup with an artist for everyone to enjoy. The star-studded lineup brings Hip Hop, Rock, R&B and of course Punk sounds to their Brooklyn summer stage.
From Goldlink, Chika, Tierra Whack, Rico Nasty and Masego, the Afropunk lineup includes a range of talent.
Afropunk Brooklyn takes place August 24 and 25 at Commodore Barry Park in Brooklyn, New York. Top-billed performers are Jill Scott, FKA Twigs, Kamasi Washington, Leon Bridges, Santigold, and Gary Clark Jr.
The 2019 festival marks the return of Afropunk’s Battle Of the Bands, the Spin Thrift Market as well as a series of conversations surrounding “Solution Sessions.” Afropunk Brooklyn 2019’s theme of “We See You” acknowledges the power in recognition and visibility.
