Four-division champion Adrien Broner has decided to part ways with boxing promotion upstart, BLK Prime. Broner was originally scheduled to participate in a fight that would have been broadcasted on the streaming platform earlier this month. However, three of his opponents, Michael Williams, Ivan Redkach and Tevin Farmer, were unable to participate for a variety of reasons. As a result, the event was canceled and Broner has elected to go in another direction.
“I’m just gonna come out and let everybody know me and BLK Prime have decided to part ways,” Broner told Fight Hype.
“There’s no bad blood, they just couldn’t deliver everything that I needed at this point in my career.”
Despite losing out on a potential payday with BLK Prime, Broner has said that he is more than willing to take another fight in the near future.
“Right now I’m in tip-top shape, I got myself in shape, I dropped all my vices, I’m not clubbing, I’m not drinking,” the Ohio native said.
“I’m ready to fight so hit me up. AB [is] a free agent, man. Let’s do this. Like I said, I’m ready to fight today, anybody.”
