Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje has said he hopes to have “a long relationship” with Marvel.
The actor, who played both Algrim and Kurse in Thor: The Dark World, spoke to Digital Spy about rumors he could return to the MCU (Marvel Cinematic Universe) as Black Panther.
“I’m actually a fan of the Marvel kingdom, I grew up with it. Just to be a part of it is great for me.
Whatever else comes – I got to play two characters in one movie – now if something else comes up it’s great as well.
It’s the beginning of, hopefully, a very long relationship so we’ll see what happens.”
Akinnuoye-Agbaje has been tipped to play Black Panther [T’Challa], who was the first black superhero in mainstream comics hen he debuted in Fantastic Four #52 in 1966.
He can be seen in the 3D film, Pompeii.
