Both singers have always complimented each other but just recently British singer Adele revealed in an interview with NRJ France:
“I always wanted to do a duet with Etta James, but sadly you know she passed, so I probably would take Beyonce. So yea, for living [artists], Beyonce, I’ve been listening to her since I was 11, I adore her but most of my inspirations are old music and sadly they have all died.”
Adele also stated she plans on releasing a new single by the end of the year. However, she said that it will take some time until her third album will be finished as she writes all her songs herself, otherwise she’d “be out next week with a new album”.
