January 2016 makes 5 years since Adele took the world by storm with the release of her second studio album, 21. Going forth to sell over 11 Million copies in the United States alone, along with hit after hit, Adele quickly became a force within Pop music that hadn’t been seen in a very long time. With reports of the singer looking to release her new album in November, fans of the singer have been left wondering just where the new music is as November is merely weeks away. Well, those questions and concerns can be put to rest as a snippet of Adele’s new single aired during a commercial of the UK’s “The X Factor.”

If the snippet is anything to go by, an almost 5 year hiatus hasn’t hurt the singer just one bit. Softly singing, “Hello, It’s me, I was wondering if after all these years you’d like to meet,” those lyrics contain funny irony after such a long break. Coming off the momentum and admiration of her previous album, it’s inevitable that we will witness Adele takeover all over again.
