Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti along with Police Department Chief Charlie Beck will do the honors of shining the bat signal in the sky from City Hall on Thursday night to commemorate the death of Adam West.
West, who passed away last Saturday at 88 years old, famously played Batman on the hit 1960s television series.
The public is invited to attend the ceremony at City Hall in Los Angeles, starting at 9 p.m. on Thursday night.
Donations can be made towards the Adam West Memorial Fund for St. Jude’s Children Research Hospital and Camp Rainbow Gold, a charity in Idaho helping children battling cancer.
