Sports have come a long way from looking at sports betting as if it were the plague. Adam Silver, the forward focused magician that he is, continues to try to move the league with the change times. His newest venture appears to be the development of sports betting in the enjoyment of watching professional sports. According to John Ourand of the Sports Business Journal, he sense a potential changing of laws very soon.

With the huge growth in fantasy basketball/football interest including one day fantasy sports, it only makes sense that the NBA commissioner wants to use those platforms to improve fan interaction. Silver continued by saying as much,

Whether it becomes legal or not, people are watching more and more basketball and Adam Silver continues the best commissioner in sports.
