With this single, you got Lex Luger on the beat. Why did you choose to reach out to him?
Actually this beat – ’cause I got a bunch of different beats that be in my folder – so, this just another older beat, actually Lex said he recorded this beat in, like, 2000. It was a different record because people were starting to get familiar with the Lex Luger sound, so I just wanted to do something totally different from what people are used to hearing. I heard the record and just wanted to take it left field and come up with something real creative. Really for no specific reason, it just happened to be a Lex Luger beat. Lex Luger’s the big homie, and the record just happens to be big.
