Marvel has announced that Aaron Taylor-Johnson has been cast to play Quicksilver in the highly anticipated blockbuster ‘Avengers: Age of Ultron’.
According to The Wrap, Taylor-Johnson worked out his publicity schedule for the remake of ‘Godzilla’ which allowed him to take the role.
Quicksilver is one of two new characters that will join the Avengers cast along with Scarlet Witch. Elizabeth Olsen is in negotiations to play the Witch and also stars alongside Taylor-Johnson in the ‘Godzilla’ remake.
‘Avengers: Age of Ultron’ will hit theaters on May 1, 2015.
