The Jacksonville Jaguars have confirmed their signing of Aaron Lynch through social media. Lynch played thirteen games for the Chicago Bears last season, lining up at defensive end and outside linebacker.

Lynch was a fifth-round draft pick in 2014 for the San Francisco 49ers after playing his college football initially at Notre Dame prior to transferring to South Florida, where he was named First-team All-AAC in 2013.
Bringing in Lynch as a capable defensive end will help to mitigate the loss of reigning Walter Payton Man of the Year and fearsome pass rusher Calais Campbell, traded from the Jaguars to the Baltimore Ravens in March.
The Jaguars will look to have an improved showing with their new-look roster next season following committing to Gardner Minshew as their starting quarterback. The 2019 season was one that Jacksonville will want to put behind them, producing a lackluster 6-10 record which placed them last in the AFC South.
