Bradley Beal found himself in the wrong place at the wrong time against the Orlando Magic this evening, because for a split second he forgot about Aaron Gordon.
On a miss at the basket from Magic point guard Elfrid Payton, Beal was simply trying to make a play on the ball for a rebound. He wouldn’t realize that known leaper Aaron Gordon was trailing the play for a two-handed putback dunk right on his head.
Gordon caught another putback body earlier in the game, Marcin Gortat:
With enough momentum and more plays like these it could make Gordon a possible candidate for the Slam Dunk Contest in February.
