Today is Wednesday, so you know what that means. While it’s the middle of the work week and we’re seconds closer to the weekend, it also means that we get more music from the A$AP Mob collective. In continuation of ‘Wavy Wednesday,’ more music has arrived for fans of the wild guys. This week’s addition comes from none other than A$AP Ferg but he doesn’t find himself alone as he links up with the turn-up team, Migos. Titled appropriately, ‘Trap Anthem’ is just about everything one could possibly think of when a collaboration between the rappers come to mind.
Packing punches from left and right, the gritty record offers as much of a bounce than it does blunt and Trap-influenced lyricism that’s decked with references of sex with women and getting wild in the best way they know. Trading off between verses, although being less than 3 minutes, the record serves its purpose with no let down besides its short length. With a new A$AP Ferg album on the horizon, who knows if this is a taste of what fans can expect. Never been too early or late to turn up, get wild to ‘Trap Anthem,’ below.
