Ever since Puff announced the Bad Boy reunion tour and the special night at the Barclay’s, theres been murmur’s of a Biggie hologram. Back in 2012 at Coachella, there was a hologram of Pac that was neatly pulled off. With the success of Pac’s hologram, it led to a Michael Jackson hologram at the 2014 Billboard awards. Now 2 years later, we’ll be seeing the B.I.G’s hologram.
Faith Evans currently is finalizing her duets album with B.I.G titled, “King and I”, and the hologram will appear in the video for the first single off of the upcoming LP. ARHT, the company who secured the rights to the likeliness of Biggie, spoke with Billboard about the hologram.
“We have a very sophisticated transmission technology for beaming these digital humans through the public Internet to literally any point on the planet,” ARHT CEo Paul Duffy reports. “These digital humans can scale to any size of venue so it can be in a window display, your living room or it could be in a 50,000-seat arena for a real-time delivery and display of this human hologram, that we call ‘Humagrams.’”
Aside from Faith’s upcoming video, you may possibly see a B.I.G hologram at select shows for the Bad Boy reunion tour. Especially at the Barclay’s. Stay tuned for more details soon to come.
