Now this is another trade, similar to the one the Sixers had earlier today with the Knicks, that isn’t going to be scrolling across ESPN’s bottomline or make Twitter explode, but it still is a trade nonetheless.

Philadelphia 76ers and Brooklyn Nets announced Friday that they have traded guards and one second round pick. Marquis Teague has been sent to the 76ers, The Nets will get a personal Casper Ware who will be waived by the team before the season starts, according to Stefan Bondy of the New York Daily News. What the Sixers get, that GM Sam Hinkie really values, is a future second round pick which would be the better of the Milwaukee and Sacramento picks the Nets are owed that year. Sixers GM Hinkie loves him some picks.
The trade really isn’t anything that going to make an immediate impact on either team, unless Marquis Teague goes to Philly and manages to make an impact while Michael Carter-Williams is out but i’m not holding my breath.
