
Sergio Rodriguez is slated to join the NBA once again. The Euroleague star point guard had previously garnered interest from the Brooklyn Nets but he will join another Atlantic Division squad.
Rodriguez is slated to join the Philadelphia 76ers on a one year deal.

Euroleague star Sergio Rodriguez has reached agreement on a one-year, $8 million deal with the Philadelphia 76ers, league sources told The Vertical.
Philadelphia is also paying toward his $3 million buyout overseas, sources said.
Rodriguez starred in Europe with Real Madrid over the past six years and many consider him a very good playmaker an overall solid offensive player. The 30 year-old guard averaged 10.8 points, 5.9 assists and two rebounds in 74 games last season with Madrid. His illustrious career overseas includes being named the Euroleague MVP in 2014 and also winning the Euroleague championship in 2015 with Real Madrid. Rodriguez has also previously played for the Spanish national team.
Rodriguez played four NBA seasons after being selected with the No. 27 pick in the 2006 draft by the Portland Trail Blazers. He averaged 4.3 points, 2.9 assists and 1.4 rebounds in stints with Portland, Sacramento Kings and New York Knicks before his departure from the NBA in 2010.
