The Philadelphia 76ers have re-signed their veteran big man, Elton Brand. The 37-year old, 17 year NBA veteran will sign a 1-year deal to re-join the Sixers, per Adrian Wojnarowski of The Vertical:

You might not have noticed that Brand was on the Sixers last year, that’s unless you’re a Sixers fan, but he only played in 17 games, averaging 4.1 points and 3.7 rebounds in just 13 minutes of action. After waiving Carl Landry and Tibor Pleiss, the Sixers interestingly signed another older big man to fill the void. Hopefully Brand will be able to give some wisdom to the younger prospects Joel Embiid and Jahlil Okafor.
