About a week ago, the Philadelphia 76ers future looked like the least promising thing in the world. There appeared to be no hope for them and there was slim to no chance that this ‘process’ would come to fruition.
Then, out of nowhere, the 76ers hired Jerry Colangelo to be the team’s ‘chairman of basketball operations’ and essentially play a big part in the teams rebuild.
Sam Hinkie’s job might be in jeopardy and the NBA owners wanted commissioner Adam Silver to step in and end this charade the Sixers are giving the NBA world. The situation is an even bigger mess than before.
There may be no better time than right now to see the Sixers future plans and they possibly can start growing something great with Colangelo at the helm. The team turning their situation around could also mean its prime time for the team to be sold.

Philadelphia Sixers billionaire owners Josh Harris and David Blitzer are gunning to own the first NFL team in London, industry sources tell Forbes.
The two just became major investors in the Crystal Palace Football Club in London and their strategy is simple: According to a business associate of Blitzer, it’s to “get to know the market,’’ as they get a footing in London and see how things operate there for their bid to land an NFL expansion team in London.
“They’re more interested in getting the NFL in London than they are in the NBA,’’ the source said. “Their No. 1 goal is to get the NFL team in London. They want to flip the Sixers anyway.’’
While owning the first NFL team in London would be enticing and would put Harris’ group in some elite category as owners of both an NFL and NBA team, it seems like it’s not happening.

Owner Josh Harris has no intention of selling #Sixers; reports indicating that as an option or placing an NFL team in London are inaccurate.

Well, the Sixers aren’t getting sold. Not yet at least but who knows what could happen in a year or two after the 76ers sign a couple of free agents and hit big on some possible young draft picks.
