This past week the debate has been going around “Can the Kentucky Men’s basketball team defeat the 0-10 Philadelphia 76ers.
While everyone has been voicing their opinions, Westgate Las Vegas Superbook says they would list Philadelphia as a 17-point favorite over the number one team in college basketball.
This comes after former Kentucky guard and current Phoenix Suns player Eric Bledsoe said the Wildcats would “definitely” beat the Sixers in a seven game series with Philadelphia “maybe” winning one game.
Sixers guard Tony Wroten disagreed with Bledsoe by saying “nah they can’t beat us.”
The Sixers have been receiving a lot of negative media recently, with their 0-10 start and really don’t seem to be concerned with winning at this point in time. Rookie guard K.J. Mcdaniels’ mom recently took to twitter using explicit language to show her frustrations with her son’s employer.
Bledsoe’s former coach John Calipari quickly shot down that his team could compete with the Sixers or any team tweeting,”Let me be clear: If we played ANY NBA team we would get buried. ANY.”
Kentucky has a rotation that goes ten deep, led by another number one ranked recruiting class. There are a possible seven guys who might end up being first round picks in the upcoming 2015 NBA Draft, with Freshmen big man Karl-Anthony Towns expected to go in the top 5.
