Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi has been a very busy woman as of late. Amid the impeachment inquiry into Donald Trump, Pelosi has been the spokesperson for the Democratic Party in addition to her usual busy schedule. Despite her hectic schedule, Pelosi met up with one of the busiest figures in the world of entertainment, Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson.
Earlier this week, Jackson posted a picture of himself meeting with the politician. He captioned the photo, “My #1 Lady Nancy Pelosi – Big Changes Coming.”

Rep. Bobby L. Rush, D-Ill., also tweeted a picture of himself meeting with the entertainment mogul. He wrote, “Hate it or love it, shows like #Power matter b/c #RepresentationMatters. It is important that we see people who look like us in government AND on the big screen.”
According to The Hill, Jackson traveled to Capitol Hill this week to advocate for further inclusion of underrepresented groups in entertainment. Specifically, Jackson advocated for Starz to remain on Comcast. Comcast is reportedly dropping Starz 17 channels from their service in the coming year. Not to mention, the cable provider is embroiled in a civil rights case with Byron Allen that will be heard by the U.S. Supreme Court later this month.
